In July, 2012, my sister-in-law in Arizona went looking for good hamburger for a family birthday cookout. She gave up at $6.00 a pound and bought chicken. Fortunately, we haven’t hit that difficulty in the Northwest. But have you noticed the prices on quality bread products? Some are up by as much as 50% in the last two years.

 Drive down the cost of bread products by making your own, including hamburger buns!

We were fortunate to have Meredith Watkins demo this recipe at our breadmaking class and it is first rate – Palouse tested!! AND the recipes for breads and bread products, including hamburger buns,  pizza dough, flour tortillas and crackers can also be found at this website. Give them a look-see.
